CAIR is mobilizing American Muslims through voter registration drives, get-out-the-vote efforts, and by providing candidates for public office with hard data about your views on important issues to the Muslim community.

Working on behalf of the American Muslim Community, this election

CAIR’s MUSLIM GOTV project has accomplished the following feats:

  • CAIR was able to create a database of 1.5 American Muslims of which
850,000 are registered to vote and 750,000 are not.
  • CAIR has distributed this database to its network of 28 chapters nationwide
who are in the process of planning community led get out the vote (GOTV)
phone banks and automated call reminders.
  • The first week of October, CAIR sent an automated robocall” to remind the
200,000 Muslims to register to vote.
